We Want to Help You Amplify Your Story

We are providing free hour-long online workshops for students and recent alumni throughout 2025 that will offer advice on how to write compelling op-eds and pitch them to news outlets. These two-part workshops will give participants effective tips from seasoned marketing and communications professionals, and they will include opportunities for op-ed drafts to be reviewed by a peer. 

Part One: An Introduction to Writing and Placing Effective Op-Eds will cover foundational elements of effective op-ed writing. 

Part Two: Fine-Tuning Your Draft will offer an opportunity to share drafts with peers and get feedback for improvement. Participants should come prepared with a draft op-ed to share. ​
